The Owners of the Kingfisher Resort, LLC are Shannon and Chad Leibfried. We welcome you to getting to know who we are.
Chad was born in Platteville Wisconsin and lived in Potosi Wisconsin for 40 years. Owned his own business building houses, pole sheds, decks, etc. Was a member of the US ARMY RESERVES for 8 years. Chad moved out to Nevada roughly 2012 and met the love of his life- Shannon.
In 2020 Shannon and Chad moved to Chetek Wisconsin and purchased the Kingfisher Resort.
Shannon was born in Australia (Navy brat), lived in Illinois and eventually Nevada for most of her years. Today she is an RN and in-center hemodialysis nurse at a nearby dialysis clinic. They were married on April 21, 2018. Before we both met out west in Nevada, we both had our own children.
Chad has Sabrina and Tucker while Shannon has Hunter and Kinsey. Now we joined forces and are known as the Leibfried Family!!
(You may see all of us or some of us, Ron and Jackie come every season and do our maintenance on our cabins since he is a master of all trades, Bob and Sandy also are tacking projects and come various times thru out the year , and our kids are often here also helping with daily chores. If need assistance just ask one of them, they will love to help you.) We absolutely love our family!!!
